Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian actor best known for her work in her role in the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters and the Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea pa' qui you are awestruck. She is also a model who is successful and also a dancer. Montreal born, she spent her early years in Texas. From a young age she's been learned a range of dance styles. At the age of 15, she entered beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame after, in 2008 she was a contestant in Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty pageant. In 2010 she made her debut on stage as a receptionist on the Telemundo's television show Aurora. Toubia was in the 2015 action thriller Tattooed Love, her debut film. The performance of Toubia as Shadowhunter was praised by the Teen Choice Awards in both the years 2017 and 2018, for her performance as Best TV Actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
